Willoughby City Council’s Jazz At The Lounge 2026 series

Concert 7: Emma Pask – High Standards

[SOLD OUT]

For one special night, Emma Pask invites you on a journey through the myriad jazz standards that shaped her, inspired her, and made her fall in love with music again and again.

While Emma’s voice and style are unique, her performances are reminiscent of the classic era of jazz, when swing was top of the charts. She has performed as support to legendary Guitarist/Vocalist George Benson, and Grammy Award-winning vocalist Kurt Elling on recent tours of Australia, and had the honour to sing for VIP audiences including the late Diana Princess of Wales and Princess Mary of Denmark.

Accompanied by her world class trio – featuring Kevin Hunt on piano, Phil Stack on bass and Tim Firth on drums – Emma brings warmth and depth to every note as she artfully traverses classic standards, timeless ballads, and a few unexpected treasures. Her effortless honest stage presence combined with her powerful vocal ability and blistering supporting trio, leaves audiences spellbound and often wanting more.

Following her sold out 2025 appearance in Jazz At The Lounge, High Standards promises an evening of elegance and exquisite musicality, all set in the ‘pristine’ venue for listening to jazz, at the Concourse.
