Just a few notes.. with Elena Kats-Chernin

Australia’s highest-voted composer in the Classic 100 countdowns in 2024 and 2025, Elena Kats-Chernin AO brings her magic to the minimalist mood at JAHM this October, performing a sprinkling of her own pieces in response to the current exhibition, MINIMAL.
Elena Kats-Chernin’s vibrant and distinctive music across all genres has reached millions worldwide, earning prizes including the Helpmann, Limelight, Sounds Australian and Sydney Theatre Awards, the Sidney Myer Performing Arts Award and the 2022 Australian Women in Music Award (AWMA) for ‘Artistic Excellence’.

Works will include Blue Silence, Winter, Unsent Love Letters, Biqui and Musk from her latest release, Ancient Letters.
