One of the most outstanding guitarists on the international scene, Karin performs on stages around the world as a recitalist, concerto soloist and festival guest, with countless concerts across Australia, Europe, Asia, the US, Mexico and Canada. Performance highlights include with the London Philharmonic Orchestra (UK) in London’s Royal Festival Hall, at the 2018 Commonwealth Games Closing Ceremony, World Expo (Japan) and Hong Kong Arts Festival, along with an extensive discography featuring numerous ARIA-nominated albums for ABC Classics and Warner Music International. Karin’s playing receives the highest acclaim from critics and audiences alike, and her unique stage presence and magical, passionate playing have inspired several leading composers to write works especially for Karin to premiere.
Beyond the concert stage, Karin makes frequent appearances on radio, television (in Canada, the United States, China and Australia) and on theatre stages, and is Head of Classical Guitar at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, Griffith University.
