Warm congratulations to pianist Simon Tedeschi AM, who has been made a Member of the Order of Australia, in this year’s King’s Birthday Honours.
Simon Tedeschi was awarded an AM for significant service to the performing arts as a concert pianist. On concert stages from a young age, and winner of multiple prizes both in Australia and overseas, Tedeschi has built an international career as a recitalist, chamber musician and writer, performing at major venues around the world while also contributing to Australia’s literary and cultural life. Frequently collaborating with leading colleagues from the world of classical music, jazz, film, theatre and literature, Simon is a regular guest on radio and television, as well as in print.
