Sydney Opera House presents Piano Day 2022
Cinque artists Andrea Lam, and London-based Zubin Kanga are just two of the Australian pianists featuring in the Sydney Opera House’s celebrations for International Piano Day this year.
Founded by Nils Frahm in 2015, the 88th day of the year was declared Piano Day – a nod to the 88 keys on a modern piano.
On Tuesday 29 March 2022, 7:30pm AEDT, Sydney Opera House’s exclusive broadcast will feature new performances by classical, experimental and contemporary musicians (including Amanda Palmer and Ian Munro), pre-recorded packages and exclusive interviews, showcasing both the piano and the diversity of musicians who work with the instrument.
