Leading Australian pianist Simon Tedeschi and New York-based pianist Andrea Lam are proudly part of the Sydney Opera House’ celebrations (online due to the COVID-19 outbreak) to mark international Piano Day 2020.
“Founded by Nils Frahm in 2015, the 88th day of the year was declared Piano Day – a nod to the 88 keys on a modern piano.
Piano Day 2020 will feature a broadcast of performances, pre-recorded packages and exclusive interviews, showcasing both the piano, and the diversity of musicians that have walked through the Opera House’s Stage Door. Supported by Yamaha.”
