Sally Walker: Symphony for Life
June 24, 2017 Jacqueline

Flautist and Lecturer at ANU, Sally Walker is proud to volunteer her time for Symphony for Life as its new Ambassador, supporting the organisation’s aims to provide an opportunity for children in Western Sydney to learn a string instrument and make music in a highly engaging community setting.

On Thursday 14th October, 2021 at 7pm (AEST)  Symphony for Life’s annual fundraising event ‘Symphony for Lockdown’ will be streamed online, to raise funds for its 2022 programs, with the involvement not only of the young SFL musicians, but also many of Australia’s leading classical musicians, including pianist Simon Tedeschi and violinist Emily Sun, as well as members of the Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Tasmanian Symphony Orchestras who have volunteered and will feature alongside the children in the digital performance.
